Challenge Moi: Collage Work

We’ve all been to that magical place called creative block. Whether it’s writing, drawing, or even conceptualizing a project, we hit a moment in time where the creative juices hit a screeching halt, and we somehow find ourselves scrolling through Instagram for a digital quicky.

Well, if you're as lucky as I am, you have friends who come up with ingenious ideas to kick your butt back into gear. So without further adieu, we (my awe-inspiring creative counterpart and I) decided to have weekly challenges to motivate, develop, and push all those grey mushy wrinkles in our brain to new limits.

So what exactly was the challenge of the week? COLLAGE WORK!! Hold on a sec. I'm not talking about that third grade collage project that was half-assed together by using old magazines and the Sunday newspaper. I'm talking about using existing art and giving it a bit of thought and personality to ultimately have a unique creation. As you can see from both of our works, we both were able to interpret our visions in different yet creative ways.

Personally, I think we are on to something awesome and really look forward to next week's challenge. Stay tuned for the next challenge post and feel free to leave suggestions for future challenges! Till next time folks ;)
